Na Píobairí Uilleann awarded funding by Music Network through Music Capital Scheme

Na Píobairí Uilleann are delighted to have been awarded funding by Music Network through the current round of the Music Capital Scheme. This funding from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, will go towards the purchase of practice sets for the Pipes on Loan Programme, our instrument rental initiative.

The Pipes on Loan Programme provides high-quality starter instruments to learners, removing economic barriers to access the uilleann pipes. This funding will allow Na Píobairí Uilleann to expand the Pipes on Loan Programme in order to meet growing demand for access to quality instruments for beginners.

Na Píobairí Uilleann would like to thank Music Network for their support in ensuring access to the uilleann pipes for future generations.
