In 2008 and 2009, thanks to funding from The Arts Council, Na Píobairí Uilleann filmed the working methods of four master pipe makers around the world, Cillian Ó Briain, David Quinn, Geoff Wooff and Andreas Rogge. The result was many hours of footage covering various aspects of making the instrument. The material has now been edited and uploaded to this section of Source. For those not already familiar with the craft of Uilleann Pipemaking, the material should ideally be viewed in the context of a formal training environment. Be aware that some of the material is still under review and may appear as ‘Restricted’ but please rest assured that all clips will be made available to members in due course.
