We regularly get requests from all over the world for uilleann pipers to play at weddings or other events and also requests from people wishing to learn or to buy a set. If you play at public events and wish to be included in the directory of Pipers , or if you teach the pipes and wish to be included in the directory of Teachers, or if you make pipes and wish to be included in the Pipemakers directory, click on the “Directory Information” button within “My Profile” and tick the relevant directory lists. Please note that these lists are published in the public domain and all of your contact details will be available in the directory.
The new site also includes a member directory to encourage better networking for members. If you wish to be included in the directory, click the “Change” button within “My Profile”->”Member Directory” and then select the “Members Only” Option. This will make your contact details available to other members of NPU. Note, unlike the Piper, Teacher and Pipemaker directory lists, these details are available to members only and are not published in the public domain.

To provide better integration with the rest of the site we have included the web store as an integral part of the site with the same login as the rest of the site. The new store is organised differently to the old store but you can use the search option at the top of the page or Quick Find to locate products. The new menu structure gives us greater flexibility in how we present items and we will review this on an on-going basis to make it as easy as possible to locate items.
Your feedback is vital so please Contact Us if you come across any glitches as the new site beds in or if you have any other feedback or suggestions – many thanks for your support and we hope you enjoy the new site.
