Na Píobairí Uilleann’s annual Tionól 2023 will take place on Friday 26th May to Sunday 28th May in Abbeyleix Manor Hotel, Cork Road, Abbeyleix, Co.Laois.

Class bookings
Class bookings for reedmaking and uilleann piping classes can be made by phoning +353-1-8730093 or emailing info@pipers.ie with your name.
Spaces are limited. Class fees are as follows and are payable by phone in advance or on the day:
Two-day reedmaking: €50 members (€75 non members)
One-day uilleann pipes: €30 members (€45 non members)
 
Hotel bookings
For room reservations at the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel, please book directly with the hotel on +353-57-8730111. Please mention that you are attending the Tionól with Na Píobairí Uilleann when booking to secure the agreed prices for the weekend. The cost is €144 per person sharing including two nights Bed and Breakfast and one evening meal on Saturday.
 
Meal
For those not staying in Abbeyleix Manor Hotel but who would like to attend the dinner, please reserve and pay at hotel reception.

Tionól Dhún na nGall 2022 will take place on Friday 17th February to Sunday 29th February in Teach Hiúdaí Beag, Bunbeg, Ionad Pobail Dhún Lúiche, Moneymore and Crolly Distillery, Crolly.

Friday 17th February

Venue: Teach Húidaí Beag, Bunbeg

8.00pm – Young Piper’s Recital followed by Piper’s Chair

Saturday 18th February

Venue: Ionad Pobail Dhún Lúiche, Moneymore

10.00am – Piping & Reedmaking Classes
Piping Class Teachers – Eoin Orr & Tom Clarke
Reedmaking Teacher – César Pastor

3.30pm – Recital

The 34th Annual Templemore Tíonol will be returning again to the Templemore Arms Hotel. The Tíonol will take place from Friday the 7th – Sunday the 9th October and will feature uilleann piping classes, reed making workshops and sessions throughout the weekend.

Classes will run on Saturday from 10.30am-12.30pm and 2.00pm-3.30pm.

Tutors: Cillian Roche and Leo Rickard.

Reed making workshop with Jim Wenham and Paddy Hyland.
