Fainche Higgins (Co. Cavan)
Trevor Horan (Co. Sligo)
Conall Mac Thréinfhír (Co. Kerry)
Kate Motherway (Co. Waterford)

Séadna O’Donnell (Co. Mayo)
Anam Ó Loingseacháin (Co. Mayo)
Ronan Poots (Belfast)
Keenan Smith (Co. Cavan)
Áine Teape (Co. Cork)

Scholarships enable students to attend a course of piping tuition at a summer school of their choosing. As many summer schools have been cancelled in 2020, Na Píobairí Uilleann are facilitating this year’s recipients by allowing them to carry their scholarships over into 2021.

Na Píobairí Uilleann will award 15 scholarships in 2021 as stated in our organisational strategy and we encourage all young pipers to apply. A number of these will be reserved for international applicants, subject to suitable standard of applications. We ask that all piping teachers highlight this opportunity amongst their students. Applicants must be current members of Na Píobairí Uilleann.

Hearty congratulations to all scholarship recipients in 2020!
