‘Session with the Pipers’ will take place in The Cobblestone on Tuesday 7th February at 9:30pm, doors open at 9pm. This month’s line-up features:

Colleen Shanks (uilleann pipes)
Ciara Ní Bhriain (fiddle)
Muireann Banks (banjo)
Nell Ní Chróinín (song)

The Ace and Deuce of Piping Concert is Na Píobairí Uilleann’s annual flagship concert. For many years the concert has presented some of the finest traditional musicians, singers and dancers from Ireland and abroad.

Na Píobairí Uilleann are delighted to be returning to an in-person concert this year in front of a live audience at Liberty Hall Theatre, Dublin.  The concert will take place on Saturday 1st October at 8pm in Liberty Hall Theatre, Dublin.

Session with the Pipers: An Spidéal Ep. 1

Na Píobairí Uilleann’s popular monthly recital series, the Session with the Pipers has gone on the road! We have been delighted to present a number of pre-recorded episodes filmed all around the country in 2021, finishing with two upcoming editions from Stiúideo Cuan in An Spidéal, Co.Galway.

The edition on Sunday 26th December (St Stephen’s Day in Ireland) will feature:

  • Johnny Óg Connolly & Clíodhna Costello (melodeon & banjo)
  • Peadar Giles (pipes)
  • Bríd Treasa Ní Ghaoithín (song)
  • Tim McHugh & John Hoban (flute & mandocello)

All episodes will be available to view for one month, free to all on NPU-TV. Donations are however welcome. Stay tuned for great music and song!
