Journal of Music Seeks Article Submissions

A unique voice from Ireland providing commentary on music in the world, The Journal of Music publishes outstanding music journalism, concert and festival news, notices of new releases, and the latest jobs and opportunities in music. In 2014, the Journal had over 130,000 readers.

Thanks to the continued support of the Arts Council, The Journal of Music is now seeking submissions of articles from new and established writers.

The online magazine welcomes articles on all musical topics and relating to any musical genre. The key requisite is that the writing be of a very high standard and yet be accessible to a wide audience. The Journal of Music seeks articles that explore the fine detail in music but that also articulate its wider significance to the magazine’s readership. The Journal of Music is not an academic journal but rather a magazine of music and ideas, seeking music journalism that is informed, engaging, passionate and brave.
