Gradam Ceoil TG4 2025
Na Píobairí Uilleann is delighted by the recent announcement that uilleann piper Colm Broderick has been named TG4’s Gradam Ceoil Ceoltóir Óg na Bliana 2025.
Colm Broderick, hailing from Carlow, is a renowned uilleann piper who has claimed numerous All Ireland titles and was awarded the Seán Ó Riada Bonn Óir Medal in 2021. In addition to his musical achievements, Colm is also a highly respected teacher, and regularly teaches for Na Píobairí Uilleann at Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy.
Colm plays a concert-pitch Rowsome set of pipes, which are on loan from Na Píobairí Uilleann. These pipes once belonged to Seán Reid and were previously loaned to the late Willie Clancy and Liam O’Flynn.
Na Píobairí Uilleann extends its warm congratulations to Colm and all the winners of this year’s TG4 Gradam Ceoil. The 2025 Gradam Ceoil TG4 concert and award ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 4, at the University Concert Hall in Limerick and will be broadcast live on TG4, as well as globally through the TG4 player.
