As Brian Vallely is approaching his 75th year, Sol Art Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of his recent work opening on 26 November. Vallely’s orchestra of traditional musicians will again take their seats and perform their timeless tunes in the manner which the artist has been conducting them for years. The observer, whether a newcomer or devout follower, will experience the deep aural and rich visual expression of these traditional musical journeymen, which he has presented in even greater levels of nuance. Only a man who has given a lifetime to this musical genre can be relied upon to represent it in paint, and only a man who has given a lifetime of expression in paint can be relied upon to fully represent this magical musical genre.
Dr. Fintan Vallely will officially launch the exhibition and the open evening will commence at 6.00 pm on the 26 November to the accompaniment of some wonderful musicians, Niall and Caoimhin Vallely. The exhibition will run until December 12. Come and enjoy the timeless art on show.
