​2017 Apprentice Scheme – ‘The Memory Symphony’

Applications to our 2017 Apprentice Scheme have re-opened following a review of applications submitted to our March 8th deadline

Whilst the scheme was originally open to all instruments, spaces for the following instruments are now full

Harp, Concertina, Oboe, Piano/Keys

We are re-opening applications from advanced players of all other instruments

We are particularly interested in applications in the following categories

Violin/Fiddle, Cello, Double Bass, Viola, Percussion, Trombone, French Horn, Bassoon, Uilleann Pipes

If you are a singer please consider applying to our new Singer’s Scheme

The IMO Apprentice Scheme is a cross-genre orchestra training course with Dave Flynn’s Irish Memory Orchestra in Athenry, Co. Galway during Hallowe’en mid term 28th Oct – 4th Nov 2017.Culminating with the World Premiere of Dave Flynn’s Memory Symphony in concerts in Christchurch Cathedral, Dublin (4th Nov) and Galway (Venue 3rd Nov)

Aimed at advanced musicians of all ages

who perform traditional, classical and/or jazz music.
