New PipeCraft Courses

Two exciting new courses are coming up in PipeCraft, our dedicated pipamaking centre, this April. Read below for more details.

Two-day hand stitched Bag-making course with Colleen Shanks 

Two-day hand stitched bagmaking course with Clare-based piper and bagmaker Colleen Shanks. Students will get the opportunity to make a hand stitched uilleann pipe bag. Students will learn about the materials and tools required to make a hand stitched bag.

All tools and materials will be provided. Participants must be 16 and over.

Date: Tuesday 7th & Wednesday 8th April (2 day course)
Location: PipeCraft, Unit 44, Port Tunnel Business Park, Clonshaugh, Dublin 17.
Cost: €120 (members) / €190 per person (non-members)

Two-day bellows-making course with piper, reedmaker and pipemaker Jim Wenham.

Students will get the opportunity to make uilleann pipes bellows which they can then keep.

Students will learn about the materials and tools required to make a bellows.

All tools and materials will be provided.

Participants must be 16 and over.
Date: Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th April (2 day course)
Location: PipeCraft, Unit 44, Port Tunnel Business Park, Clonshaugh, Dublin 17.
Cost: €280 (members) / €350 per person (non-members)
