THIS PHOTOGRAPH, kindly donated by Brian Vallely, shows Leo Rowsome with a group of his friends, apparently in a cemetery. The back row includes (l-r) Un-named, Jack Seery (brother of Jim Seery), Paddy McElvaney, Paddy McKenna, Jer Touhy, Jim Nolan, Leo Rowsome, Larry Dillon, Mary Mullaly, John Keenan, Mrs. Mullaly and Paddy Mohan, and in the front row Kathleen Harrington, Rita Keenan, Lorcan Keenan, Bríd McKeon, Cristóir Ó Cearnaigh and his wife Mairéad. We are grateful to Mick O’Connor, Helena Rowsome and Gay McKeon for identifying many of the people in the picture, which was probably taken around 1969 during a visit to the grave of Jim Seery, near Mullingar.
