Píobaire, An 9 3 14 20130712 and will be of enormous help in framing our programme of activities over the next six years. The comment most frequently found was that members were finding our website navigation somewhat unwieldy. We can assure members that this is already in hand. A process to re-de- sign and upgrade the website began late last year, and we will introduce the new site before the end of 2013. The responses are being reviewed in detail at the moment and we will shortly respond indi- vidually in all cases where concrete proposals or specific queries were received. Terry Moylan 14 ~ NPU NEWS ~ Membership Survey E ARLIER THIS YEAR we conducted a survey of our members to ascertain your views on the services that we deliver. The level of response was high, and we would like to thank the 455 members who took part in the ex- ercise. This is the third survey we have conducted, the others being in 2006 and 2009 (see An Píobaire 4.37 and 5.3 for details), and the results from the various sections, especially that on NPU Strategy, reveal a trend of improvment over previous results. The survey was structured in a mixed way, with multiple-choice questions seeking to gauge members’ perceptions of the quality of service in different areas of our operations, as well as open questions designed to allow members to provide their own observations on our services, and suggestions for how we might do things differently, or better. The five areas that were targeted for feedback were (a) the website, (b) the online shop, (c) publica- tions and events, (d) members’ services and (e) NPU strategy. In each of these areas there were be- tween 3 and 6 sub-sections. The multiple-choice responses from the sub-sections have been com- bined in the chart on the right. The data do not include blank re- sponses. Detailed charts for the in- dividual areas can be accessed at www.pipers.ie/temp/survey2013 .pdf The feedback has proven ex- tremely informative and useful,
