9 1 14 20130207 14 P ICTURED BELOW is the 5th January meeting of the South Downs Uil- leann Pipers in the Unitarian Chapel in Billingshurst, West Sussex. The group are meeting regularly there on the first Saturday of each month at 10:30am, the earlier time, as they say themselves, to give everyone a bit more flexi- bility if they have Saturday commitments to fit in other than piping!! Two separate playing areas are available, and they plan to have separate beginners and intermediate/advanced playing running simultane- ously. Details and directions can be found at their web- site southdownspipers.org. They will be holding their first-ever Tionól in the vil- lage of West Chiltington in West Sussex on the 15th and 16th March 2013. Neillidh Mulligan will be the guest tutor and will be performing at the concert on the Satur- day evening. The details of the Tionól are now available on their web- site, including an on-line registration form for prospective attendees to complete. No money need be paid until Saturday 16th March when participants arrive. They are supported by residents of West Chilting- ton who have offered to help with concert arrangements and catering, so all is set for a good event!
