Paul organised the Boston Committee of sup- porters of NPU in the 1980s, which provided very significant support towards our efforts to make our house habitable when we had moved into a fire-damaged, derelict former tenement. The American pipermaker Seth Gallagher also called by during August, in the company of Jimmy O’Brien-Moran. Seth was in Ireland to deliver new sets of his pipes to two lucky pipers, and the staff were delighted when Jimmy provided an impromptu recital on one of Seth’s sets. Behind Jimmy in the picture at left can be seen the portrait of Joe Mulligan, an active member of the Boston Committee re- ferred to above. Members visiting Ireland can be assured of a welcome at Henrietta Street. Seth Gallagher and Jimmy O’Brien-Moran
