Píobaire, An 7 4 11 20110920 JOHN MCSHERRY and his fellow musicians Dónal O’Connor and Francis McIlduff, along with guest musicians, comprise the band At First Light. John and Francis being pipers, the sound of the instrument is the dominant strand in the group’s musical identity. The tracks are a mixture of traditional and newly composed airs and tunes, with two songs, all delivered ensemble.
