9 2 7 20130417 7 Terry Moylan TG4 For the prize-winners’ concert, Na Píobairí Uil- leann were represented by a piping ensemble (see picture below, by Maurice Gunning) that was representative of our Board, staff and membership, with (l-r): Gay McKeon, Sheila Friel, Nollaig Mac Cárthaigh, Dave Hegarty, Noel Pocock and Tommy Keane. They played a selection of tunes, including “The Dusty Miller”, “Garret Barry’s Jig” and “Tá an Coil- leach ag Fógairt an Lae”. The prize consisted of a sculpture in the form of a windswept tree (created by sculptor John Coll, see picture below), which was presented on behalf of TG4 by Liam O’Flynn.
