Pipes on Loan

General Terms & Conditions
• The Borrower must be a member of Na Piobairi Uilleann (membership rates are €65 per annum, or €35 for seniors, students, or unwaged).
• The Borrower shall attend weekly uilleann piping lessons, if possible with Na Piobairi Uilleann.
•The rental fee for 12 months is €130.
•On receipt of the instrument, a security deposit of €400 is payable. This will be refunded upon safe and timely return of the instrument.
• The Borrower must return the instrument at the end of the 12 month period, unless an extension is applied for and granted by Na Piobairi Uilleann.
• Upon return of the instrument, Na Piobairi Uilleann reserve the right to deduct from the security deposit any outstanding rental fees due.
• Loan is for a practice set of pipes consisting of chanter, bag, bellows, case, and popping strap.
• The Borrower shall be liable for any loss or damage to the instrument, including broken reeds, other than what is, in the opinion of Na Píobairí Uilleann, fair wear and tear.
• The instrument shall be kept in moderate indoor conditions, away from extremes of heat or cold.
• The Borrower shall notify Na Piobairi Uilleann of any change of address.
Instruments shall not be loaned to third parties without the approval of Na Píobairí Uilleann and the necessary documentation being completed in respect of the new borrower.
• The ownership of the instrument shall at all times be vested in Na Píobairí Uilleann.
