PIPECRAFT: Boring, Turning & Machining Wood for Pipemaking with Bill Haneman

Two-day boring, turning and machining wood for pipemaking course with Dublin based piper and pipemaker Bill Haneman.
This is a new course and a great introduction to pipemaking workshop. Participants in this course will learn woodturning skills on a lathe. The course will cover all the basic Health & Safety essentials when using a wood lathe. Students will all complete the fittings for a practice set: bag stock, a chanter stock and blow pipe. All tools and materials will be provided. Participants must be 18 and over.
Date: Thursday 15th February – Friday 16th February 2024 (2 day course).
Location: PipeCraft, Unit 44, Port Tunnel Business Park, Clonshaugh, Dublin 17.
Cost: €100 (members) / €140 per person (non-members)
