National Heritage Week: Try the Pipes in Athlone Library, Co. Westmeath

As part of our celebration of National Heritage Week (17th – 25th August 2024), Na Píobairí Uilleann is offering a free uilleann pipes taster session in Westmeath. This will be held on the Saturday 24th August from 11am-1pm in the cultural hub of Athlone Library.

Hosted by accomplished uilleann piper Liam Winnett, individuals will have the opportunity to try out the instrument for themselves with the guidance and assistance of experienced players.
