Online booking for thepiping classes will become available on the NPU website on March 1st.Ace & Deuce of Piping Concert: Held annually on the last Friday in September, this yearthe 26th of September.NPU recitals: Held on the first Tuesday of each month at 9:30pm The recitals for Spring2008 will be held on the following dates:March 4th 2008 – Emmett Gill (pipes) and Paddy, Séamus and Kevin Glackin(fiddles)April 1st 2008 – Dennis Brooks (pipes), Aidan Coffey (box) and Mick Daly (gui-tar)May 6th – Peter Browne (pipes), Gerry Harrington (fiddle) and CatherineMcEvoy (flute)June 3rd – Kieran O’Hare (pipes), Tara Diamond & Gary Hastings (flutes)Weekly NPU piping & reed making classes: Held weekly on Tuesday nights 7pm to8pm and 8pm to 9pm. Next term commences with enrolment on Tuesday Sep 9th 2008 at7pm, with the first class being held on Tuesday Sept 16th.Breandán Breathnach Commemoration: Held annually on the first Saturday ofDecember. The next Breandán Breathnach Commemoration will be held on SaturdayDecember 6th 2008.Doran WeekendThis year’s Johnny Doran Tionól will takeplace in the Belbridge Hotel, SpanishPoint, co. Clare on April 25-27.As it is the centenary of Doran’s birth a spe-cial programme is planned.
