An innovation at this years gatheringis the running of a shop at which members may buy reed-makingmaterials, photographs, etc. The hours of business are set outin the programme. Your council are anxious to make a soundrecording of this years Tionol for deposit in the Archives. Oneneed not elaborate on the interest and value a record of the kindwould hold for members in years to come. The people who haveundertaken to do this work will have to devote hours to it. Yourpart need take no more than ten or fifteen minutes. A readyresponse would be appreciated.Coiste Cuimhneachain Willie Clancy has finalised arrangements forthe Willie Clancy Summer School, which opens on Saturday July 20thin Miltown Malbay. Copies of the programme may be obtained at theshop. Two classes for the pipes are being held and thirtyplaces have been reserved for student pipers. The fee for theSchool is tl6. This covers accommodation and all meals for theperiod July 20th - 27th, attendance at classes and all otherevents. Members who would prefer fending for themselves mayparticipate In all events on payment of the registration fee of15. The occasion promises to be a memorable one and worthy in allrespects of our late patron, Willie Clancy.
