Mrs. Houston collected theair Number 9, viz., The Trip we took over the Mountains, and I collected thefollowing words in Donegal which sing to Mrs. Houstons air. Edward Bunting inhis Vol. 2, page 25, gives a version of this air, and in Dr. P. W. Joyces Old IrishFolk Music and Songs, page 128, he also gives a version of The Trip we took overthe Mountains. C.
