Only asmall number of our members (approximately10%) had to be contacted by post which is astriking indication of the number of pipers, young and old, taking advantage of email andonline communications.ANALYSISOverall we received a highly positive response toall aspects of the services provided by NaPíobairí Uilleann which included Administra-tion, Web-shop and Web-site, Publications andEvents, Reed and Pipe Making and our Archive.ADMINISTRATION:We are pleased to report significant improve-ments from our last survey published in AnPíobaire (Vol. 4, No. 36) in 2006. The biggestwas seen in the approval rating of ourAdministration service which saw a rise ofmore than 20 percentage points in the numberof Excellent ratings to 47%.There was also an impressive Good rating of48% for Administration and there were someexcellent suggestions for further improve-ments in this area.WEB SHOP & WEB SITE / PUBLICATIONS &EVENTS:The combined total of Good and Excellentscores exceeded 70% in the area of the Web-shop and Web-site which is a 10 percentagepoint increase from the last survey. This wasalso true of the Publications and Events sec-tion which saw combined scores of Good andExcellent in excess of 80%. (See illustrationson following page)PIPE MAKING & REED MAKING:Pipe-making and reed-making also scoredwell, with combined Good and Excellenttotals of 70% and 60% respectively. Howeverthe percentage of Good and Fair ratings indi-cates a need for more emphasis and resourcesfocused on this area.ARCHIVE:Our Archive section contin-ued the positive scoring withanother Good and Excellentcombined total of over 75%.This ended a highly positivequestionnaire section whichalso yielded a high number ofsuggestions in relation tothese and other topics.Administration
