National Heritage Week: Try the Pipes in Hawk’s Well Theatre, Co. Sligo

As part of our celebration of National Heritage Week (17th – 25th August 2024), Na Píobairí Uilleann is offering a free uilleann pipes taster session in Sligo. This will be held on the Saturday 24th August from 12-2pm in the cultural hub of Hawk’s Well Theatre, Sligo.

Hosted by accomplished uilleann piper Leonard Barry, individuals will have the opportunity to try out the instrument for themselves with the guidance and assistance of experienced players.
