Booking essential.

This autumn, Na Píobairí Uilleann are delighted to once again be a part of Open House Dublin, Ireland’s largest architecture festival.

As part of the festival, Na Píobairí Uilleann will open the doors of our headquarters to members of the public for guided tours of the building on Saturday 16th October and Sunday 17th October. Spaces on the tours will respect all public health guidelines. Make sure to pre-book your spot! Bookings must be made directly through Open House Dublin’s website, available herehttps://openhousedublin.com/locations/na-piobairi-uilleann/.

Na Píobairí Uilleann’s headquarters, which house our Archive and Library, as well as office space for staff and classrooms for students, is located on Dublin’s Henrietta St. The street is one of the finest examples of early Georgian architecture in the city and is of wider European significance.

Following significant restoration of No. 15, which was completed in 2007, Na Píobairí Uilleann now plan to reinstate the adjoining house, No. 16 Henrietta St., which would allow us to host a national uilleann piping visitor centre, our pipemaking training facilities, and a performance space dedicated to the traditional arts. If you would like to learn more about the headquarters building and our plans for the future, book you spot and come along!
