108 DOUBLE JIGSJimmy dBrien JigThe first, third, and fourth parts, of this fine Double Jig were memorized by the editor from the playingof James OBrien a very capable Irish piper hailing from Mayo, who sojourned in Chicago in 1876. It wasprinted for the first time on this side of the Atlantic in O)V ill 8 Music of Ireland, C]ii ago, 1903. A somewhatdifferent setting of it in a much higher key entitled Copeys Jig Jackson was later discovered inG of freiand 200 Airs London, 1841.Its reproduction in this work is for the purpose of preserving the second part recently introduced in con..,nection with the first as a separate tune. The enlarged arrangement justifies itself.196197DOUBLE JIGSN1orrj or Fancy_____109Capt.F. ONeill. . JLtr - p.a - a1rLr 1 LcJ Th ..LF:i !m( r LJ L J1LrftLW:fr B 2 ff:rda-.. ..Oapt. F. ONeill.
