The sleeve notes are written by Donncha’s brother Mick O’Brien, who joins Donncha on pipes on sev- eral of the tracks. Other members of the O’Brien family also take part. Two tracks consist of pipes and whistle – a set of reels and an air. The whistle and pipes are joined by brother Tomás’s fiddle for a set of reels, and two tracks – reels and jigs – consist of the family playing in ensemble mode. The remaining tracks are solo whistle playing.
