Our thanks to Dave Hegarty who provided a copy of this collection for processing. The IMCO collections can be accessed through our new website SOURCE or directly online at: www.pipers.ie/IMCO TOMMY MCCARTHY T he Irish language station TG4 will be broadcasting a film of great interest to pipers on December 27th. Entitled Handing Down the Tunes, it is a programme focussing on the life and music of the piper Tommy McCarthy. The programme was produced by NPU Board member Ken Lynam, who also oversees the filming our our monthly Cobblestone Sessions. Members who were pres- ent at the Rowsome night this year will recall some material being filmed on that occasion. TG4 programmes are retained on their website for a period after the broadcast date.
