The pipes were made by eitherMcLoughlin Brothers of Quin, reputedto he blacksmiths or by the MoloneyBros. of Kilrush. also blacksmiths andrenowned pipemakers. They are madeof native timber, with bone arid brassmounts. They were put in order byCrowlevs of (. .ork and played by I .eoRowsome and his son, I coil. LiamWaishe of Waterford also played onthem,- i.he Foxhunt.My son, who phovs the warpipes Canalso manage a tune.
