New Appointment at NPU

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Sabhbh Ní Maolagain as Administration Assistant of the organisation effective from August 12th 2015. Sabhbh who will report directly to Emmett Gill will provide support in the efficient and effective running of the organisation to ensure the delivery of outstanding services to uilleann pipers, pipe makers, piping enthusiasts and the Irish traditional arts community worldwide.

Sabhbh studied at Trinity College where she was awarded B.A degree in TSM History of Art and Architecture/Early Irish. Sabhbh has experience in the retail sector and previously completed an internship at the Hunt Museum, Limerick.

Sabhbh is replacing Caroylne Lindsay who is leaving NPU to pursue a career in accounting. I would like to thank Carolyne for her contribution to the organisation over the past eighteen months and I wish her every success in her future career.

I welcome Sabhbh to the Team at NPU and wish her a long and successful career with the organisation.
